Josh Play Recipes Appetizer Tomato-Onion Salad

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Slice one small or half of one large tomato into bite-size slices.
  2. Slice a wedge off of a red or purple onion and dice it.
  3. Slice one large or two to three small leaves of fresh basil. (NB: This will only work with fresh basil. Dried will NOT work.)
  4. Place tomato, onion, and basil on a plate.
  5. Sprinkle 1/8 tsp black pepper on top.
  6. Sprinkle some grated mozarella cheese on the salad.
  7. Drizzle balsamic or sherry vinegar on top.
