     1. INSTALLING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
directory. Here is where the appropriate files go if you have
a problem:

.tga files should go into the /Data Files/Icons/A/ folder

.nif files should go into the /Data Files/Meshes/A/ folder

.bmp files should go into the /Data Files/Textures/ folder

(also inside the textures folder there will be a magicitems
folder filled with .dds files, see below)

the Dread.esp files should be in the main Data Files folder

*****************************************************************

     2. PLAYING THE PLUGIN

*****************************************************************

From the Morrowind Launcher, select Data Files and check the box
next to the Dread.esp file.

It's bad enough the land of Vvardenfell has the blight to deal with-
now there are rumors of a dark Orcish sect that have taken residence,
and are slowly plotting their own rise to power. Unlike most Orcs,
this sect known as the Dread Order tend to be more secretive,
plotting for their moment to seize power. The Imperial Legion has
ordered the destruction of the Order, but due to their secretive
nature they are not that easy to track down. Whispers of their
appearances are also marred by tales of quick slaughter. They are
clearly a powerful clan, and a few choice commanders in the Imperial
Legion are looking for a few good men to help track the Dread
Knights down. On the other hand, rumor has it the Orcs are looking
for powerful warriors to join them as well...

There are many quests in this plugin, and once you start getting
deep into it, they get quite difficult. I tried to make it
something for higher level players to do.

     3. Save Games

*****************************************************************

This plugin *shouldn't* invalidate your saved games. If you save
your game while this plugin is loaded, you may encounter error messages
when you reload the saved game without the plugin. However, this
plugin is NOT an official Bestheda release, so use it at your own
risk. It's always wise to backup a savegame before installing a new
plugin. That being said, all content in this plugin is new, and
very little of the original world is modified, so current games and
quests should be OK.

     4. Special README notes

*****************************************************************

There were special files included in this installation that will
remove the "shimmering" effect that Enchanted items radiate. This
is done to appreciate item textures better. If you like the
shimmering effect of enchantments, remove the folder "magicitem"
in the Data Files/Textures/ folder.

As stated above, the plugin is about 98% new content, and so should
not interfere with any savegames in progress. Be safe and always
backup savegames if you have any doubts whatsoever (and I recommend
it anyway, just cuz!)

This plugin contains many quests, and a couple new suits of armor
to be had. The new textures were created using Photoshop.

     5. Bugs

*****************************************************************

Although I tested this mod thoroughly, of course bugs can (and
usually will) slip through. Feel free to let me know of things
you think are wrong. The only thing I noticed are that in two
instances, dialogue options do not appear in the menu, even
though they should. Sometimes restarting chat with that NPC will
cause the topic to appear as it should, sometimes just trying a
new topic will. Haven't found a reason for it. In the two
cases where I noticed it happening, it was for topics which weren't
vital to completing quests, so I'm not too worried.

This plugin was also made using the patched version of Morrowind,
1.1.0605. This may cause error messages when loading the mod for
the first time, especially if you were using a previous version.
Also, the HlormarScript message has nothing to do with this mod,
it is an error caused by the patch.

     6. Author and Feedback

*****************************************************************

Not much to say here- except that I go by the moniker of NarkyBark,
I make mods and levels for games, and I try to make them better
than average. Let me know what you think!
