Sticky Garlic Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 cup peach or apricot preserves
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 6 chicken thighs or 2–3 chicken breasts
Directions
- Put marinade ingredients in a bowl and whisk together.
- Place thighs in a plastic bag and pour ½ the marinade
in the bag. Squish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Put remaining marinade in a saucepan, bring to a boil and
simmer for 7–9 minutes.
- Place marinated thighs in a preheated 400-degree oven and
bake for 40–45 minutes, basting with the glaze several
times while baking.
You can substitute apple cider vinegar for balsamic. You can
also omit the preserves and increse the honey.
